Featured Employer Seminars highlight a local employer by providing information about their company, current and anticipated job openings, information about growth potential within the company, and guidance in navigating their application and hiring processes. Some employers also field applications and conduct interviews on-site using our 60-station computer labs, interview rooms, and meeting facilities.
Throughout the year, Urban League partners with area employers for job fairs. Let us help you fill your job openings with qualified candidates who will also help you fill your diversity and inclusion goals.
We host industry-specific job fairs that align with our short-term industry specific and career readiness training, including customer service, medical administration, insurance, construction and the trades. Currently, ULGM serves more than 500 job seekers and has a huge social network of more than 10,000 followers. We are eager to help qualified candidates find sustainable employment.

Engage, learn and be empowered with other Madison Region business and community leaders focusing on economic development and diversity at our annual Workforce Diversity and Leadership Summit, held in partnership with Madison Region Economic Partnership (MadREP).
The annual Workforce Diversity and Leadership Summit reflects a collective commitment to advancing talent, opportunity and growth for all the region’s citizens. A topic of continued relevance and importance, the convergence of diversity and economic development is a critical component of efforts to mold this region into a model for economic inclusion. We know that diversity spurs economic growth, while homogeneity slows it down. As workforce demographics continue to shift, we recognize that the businesses and communities that embody, embrace, and encourage diversity in all its forms will experience the most gains. It is incumbent upon all of us living and working in the Madison Region to understand the integral relationship between economic growth and diversity, and to act upon the opportunities before us.
The day-long Summit engages, educates, and empowers attendees around issues related to economic, workforce, and community development. The event features keynote speakers, break-out sessions, and ample networking opportunities. Participants represent the entire eight-county Madison Region, with an anticipated audience of 500+ business executives, community leaders, economic development professionals, educators, elected officials, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders.
