James G. Graham James Graham is a director of tax services with McGladrey’s Great Lake Practice in the Madison, Wisconsin office. He joined the firm in 1986. Jim focuses on serving manufacturing and wholesale distribution companies, contractors, nonprofit and health care organizations, professional service firms, and a variety of other owner-managed, closely held companies. Jim also has expertise in dealing with retirement and fringe benefit plans, payroll taxes, sales and use taxes, tax audits, and ruling requests.
In addition to the Urban League, Jim also serves on the board of directors of the Madison Benefits Council and is a member of the Madison Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists. He frequently conducts seminars on individual and business tax planning, retirement planning, and employee benefit issues. He is also the Treasurer and serves on the board of directors of the W.A.H.U. Foundation.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public administration from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in 1981 and his law degree in 1984. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1984 and earned his Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation in 1987. The CEBS program is sponsored by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School.
