Andrews Consulting, LLC
Morris Andrews is the Principal of Andrews Consulting in Madison, Wisconsin, a business he founded in 1992. His clients have included the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, “Wright for Wisconsin Campaign” (the committee to build Monona Terrace Convention Center), WE Energies, Wisconsin Dells Visitor and Convention Bureau, Wisconsin Professional Police Association, Great Dane Brew Pub, the Wisconsin Hospital Association, and Wal- Mart.  Andrews has also consulted with numerous educational organizations, including the National Council of State Education Associations, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wisconsin Alumni Association, and Wisconsin School Finance Reform for Governor Scott McCallum.  Andrews Consulting has also managed or consulted on numerous national, state and local political races, including serving as the national Chairperson for Russ Feingold’s first campaign for the U.S. Senate and national campaigns for Congressmen Steve Gunderson, Scott Klug and Ron Kind; advisor to the Fair Wisconsin campaign, a statewide referendum; campaign manager for Blaska for Dane County Executive; and campaign manager for Dave Mahoney for Dane County Sheriff. 

Prior to his consulting practice, Andrews led the transformation and growth of the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) as its Executive Secretary from 1972 to 1992, where during his tenure he significantly increased the power and influence of state teacher unions and support for educators. Among his proudest achievements is the success he had helping to increase teacher salaries and winning passage of Wisconsin’s binding arbitration law. Prior to WEAC, Andrews served as Director of Negotiations and Assistant Executive Secretary for Field Services with the Illinois Education Association (1970-72), Negotiation Specialist with the National Education Association (1968-1970) and Field Representative for the Detroit Suburban Area for the Michigan Education Association (1966-68).  

Prior to his work with teacher unions, Andrews served as social studies teacher, K-12 department head, and Football coach with Big Rapids Community Schools in Big Rapids, Michigan. He also served as a 9-12 grade teacher, department chair and football coach with Croswell Lexington Community Schools in Croswell, Michigan and a teacher and coach with Crystal Community Schools in Crystal Michigan. Andrews earned his Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education from Central Michigan University and Master of Science in physical education from Indiana University. He is married to Kris Deininger Andrews, has two children – Chris and Michael, and five grandchildren.
