S.T.E.A.M. Camp 2022

The Urban League of Greater Madison (ULGM) and Strang, Inc. are raising awareness for educational pathways toward careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (S.T.E.A.M).

Join us for a FREE, week-long S.T.E.A.M. adventure for Madison-area students entering grades 6-9.

S.T.E.A.M. Camp 2022 will run for five consecutive days, August 1st – 5th, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Central Time). Camp attendees will gather at 8:00 am each day at ULGM’s office to board a school bus to visit university laboratories, public utilities, private companies, and non-profit organizations. The camp aims to engage campers’ curiosity and spark their imagination as representatives from S.T.E.A.M. fields lead them in interactive learning activities. Campers will return to ULGM at approximately 5:00 pm each evening. Lunch and supplies necessary for camp attendees to participate in each day’s activities will be provided.

Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and interactive environment where campers learn new skills and begin to understand the educational pathways behind S.T.E.A.M. careers.
