Join us for a week long STEAM adventure! STEAM Camp 2025, brought to you by the Urban League of Greater Madison and Strang, Inc., will be an interactive journey exploring career pathways towards each of the STEAM fields – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math.
STEAM Camp 2025 will be held in-person August 4th – August 8th, from 9:00am-4:00pm daily. Each day begins with informal presentations which introduce campers to people who work within STEAM disciplines. This is followed by full-day trips to partnering organizations throughout the Greater Madison Area to engage in hands-on, real world exploration of the types of work and career pathways available in STEAM fields. The goal is to give our campers a Realistic, Interactive, and Fun look at these careers.
Camp attendees will gather at 9:00am each day at the Urban League Office on 2222 South Park Street, Madison, and the bus to our host organization for the day will be leaving the at 9:30am. Campers will return to the Urban League each day between 3:30 and 4:00pm.
This is a completely free experience and open to students entering grades 6-9. Attendees will receive a camp t-shirt to wear during the week. Lunch and morning/afternoon snacks will be provided at no cost.
To register, begin by selecting the ticket corresponding to the partner organization that your child will be participating through and clicking “register”. Once you select the right ticket, complete the order form with your child’s information (unless otherwise noted) and click “register” to submit.
